Strasbourg (called Petite France) is less than an hour by car and Colmar (called Little Venise) only a quarter of an hour from Riquewihr.

You can visit all the picturesque villages in Alsace by taking the wine rod of Alsace.

Paris - Colmar by TGV - Colmar is less than 2h40 from Paris thanks to the TGV (High Speed Train). You can organize your travel in public transportation in ALsace, train and bus by visiting the site: vialsace.eu and organize your deployments.

From Colmar railway station, take the bus to Riquewihr (stop at the post office). From the SUD (Mulhouse and Colmar) take the high way A35 towards Strasbourg and exit Ostheim, cross the village following the signs to reach Riquewihr which is 5 km.

Paris - Strasbourg in TGV + car rental

If you arrive from the station of Strasbourg or the airport take the A35 high way in the direction of Colmar and the exit Ribeauvillé. Continue on the road following the signs to reach Ribeauvillé then Riquewihr which is 5 km.

When you arrive in Riquewihr continue towards the medieval city, you arrive at the Porte Basse which is also Town Hall of Riquewihr. DO NOT ENTER THE TOWN BY CAR.

Turn left and round the village to the high gate (called the Dolder) of the village. You can park your car in the parking lot on your left or along the sidewalk to make formalities for possession of your apartment. Walking towards the village, youa arrive at the door called "Le Dolder" which dates from 1291 forming part of the wall of the ramparts. As soon as you pass under the Dolder you turn right and you are in the RUE DES REMPARTS where is located about 100 meters or house " Le Coeur des Remparts" on your right at number 26.
